Letar du efter en pulslaser för att göra ditt konsthologram?
Varje år erbjuder HoloCenter och OSU i New York, Grosvenor Island en gratis 5-dagars workshop för personer som vill dyka in i holografins mysterium. Skapa fysiska ljusbilder med ljusets fotoner, som fungerar som mejseln för en skulptör.
Verkstaden är öppen för konstnärer och lärare. Vi ger också artister tillgång till pulslaserstudio för att producera nytt konstverk. Ansökan öppnas till 20 januari 2019:

The HoloCenter Art Holograms Iridescence (självstrålande) konsthologram från 1 september – 29 oktober 2017
The Hologram Foundation (Paris) och the Center for the Holographic Arts (New York) presenterar sex konstnärers verk utvalda i en internationell tävling. Holografi konstnärerna är Michael Bleyenberg, Patrick Boyd, Lana Briscella, Pascal Gauchet, Setsuko Ishii and Fred Unterseher. Deras hologram konst finns nu på Holocenter till den 29 oktober 2017.
HoloCenter är en organisation som ägnar sig åt att främja och utveckla holografiska konstverk (hologram, laserkonst). HoloCenter höll till i the Clock Tower på Long Island september 2013 till april 2014. I Bank of Manhattans historiska lobby exponerades storformat hologram med, konstnärsböcker, DVD´s, kataloger och artisternas videos samt information om hur hologram produceras.

FOLDED LIGHT
HOLOCENTER celebrated before leaving the extraordinary location at The Clock Tower New York with holograms, music, projections, performers, interactive installations, food and drinks.
Visitors could step into the vault one last time and enter the ephemeral World of Holographc Art. This gorgeous 1926 art deco bank building, now sold, was the tallest building in Queens for over sixty years.

Using a three-dimensional, holographic technique called interferometry, a pulsed laser recorded minute changes in movement as alternating bands of light and dark captured in two exposures 1 millionth of a second apart.
